I am glued to the television this morning watching BBC.
Yesterdays SURPRISE to all, snow-storm that blanketed most of the UK, is the biggest snowfall they have seen in 7 years.
Today many flights are cancelled coming in and out of Heathrow and Birmingham. Hundreds of schools are closed and thousands are without hydro-electricity.
Lucky for us we are staying in Winchester just 30 minutes from the port of Southampton where the staff of Cunard’s Queen Elizabeth will be waiting for us to board later this morning. I’m sure many will have issues getting to the ship.
As long as our transfer coach arrives in Winchester from London I don’t expect we will have any problems getting to the ship.
Enjoying a traditional English breakfast this morning at our hotel – I avoided the black pudding though…
